On Friday, June 7th, we celebrated our twelfth Act Of Kindness! Our very own Julia Ardelean, who volunteers for the Kings Arm Church, Bedford, supported us by feeding some of the homeless community.
“We offer hot meals, dessert, teas, and coffee for homeless people. It was originally set up for those experiencing homelessness but now is also for those vulnerably housed or wanting community. Every Friday from 7:30 PM – whoever wants to come for a hot meal is welcome. We usually cook at the community centre, but we supplied pizza from a local business this past Friday. We are all volunteers from Kings Arms Church and HSBC in Bedford and always looking for more volunteers. Thank you very much to MEM Recruitment for their kind donation towards the cost of the food to make this Friday possible.”
