Job Description:

MEM Bedford is currently recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join our team(s) in Shefford, SG17.

Accounts Administrator Main Duties:

  • Day-to-day control of Sales ledger and Purchase ledger
  • Accurate and timely Invoicing
  • Liaising with internal departments for the provision of paperwork
  • Raising of credit notes and manual invoices for authorisation
  • Credit control
  • Sales ledger reconciliations of all debtors
  • Aged debtor reporting
  • Deal with customer queries
  • To maintain and reconcile cashbook and receipts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Run month-end reports
  • Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required

Job Requirements:

  • 1 years of accounts experience preferred in a similar role
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good team player

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible between 08:00 am to 6:00 pm

Rate of Pay:

  • £9.61 – £11.05 Per Hour, depending on experience
