Telephone Account Manager

MEM Bedford is recruiting multiple Telephone Account Manager to join our team(s) based in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

The client is seeking dynamic and results-driven Telephone Account Managers to join their sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to initiate contact with potential customers over the phone, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for their Sales Account Managers. The ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanour, and a proactive attitude towards achieving targets.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

Proactively make outbound calls to potential customers using a provided list and market research.

Identify and qualify leads based on established criteria.

Gather relevant information about the prospect's needs, challenges, and current solutions.

Appointment Setting:

Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.

Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of lead interactions and appointments in the CRM system.

Product/Service Knowledge:

Stay informed about the company's products/services to effectively communicate their features and benefits.

Address customer queries and provide basic information about the offerings.

Communication:

Clearly and effectively communicate the value proposition of products/services to potential customers.

Handle objections and address concerns to keep the conversation progressing positively.

Build and maintain close working relationships.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to understand their goals and align lead generation efforts accordingly.

Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to improve sales strategies.

Target Achievement:

Meet and exceed weekly/monthly lead generation and appointment setting targets.

Continuously strive to improve conversion rates and overall productivity.

Follow-up:

Conduct timely follow-ups with leads who have shown interest but are not yet ready to commit.

Nurture relationships with prospects through regular communication.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telephone sales, telemarketing, or lead generation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, telephone manner and interpersonal skills, excellent written English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer skills.
  • Persistence and resilience in dealing with rejection and overcoming objections.
  • High level of professionalism and customer-centric approach.
  • Ideal to be a College or UNI leaver.
  • Additional language preferred and beneficial, but not essential.

Other Information:

  • Salary £25K - £30K, OTE ( £30K + )
  • Monday to Friday 9AM – 6PM ( 1 Hour Lunch Break ).
  • Ability to make own way to and from work location.
