Food Production Operative

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our dynamic team in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes while adhering to strict food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production machinery to ensure efficient operation.
• Follow all HACCP guidelines and food safety protocols to maintain product quality and safety.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Document production activities accurately, including any deviations from standard operating procedures.

Skills

• Experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
