This year, we are celebrating our 30th year in business, and to celebrate this, we are announcing our intentions to create 30 random acts of kindness in 2024.
These acts will involve many of our team members and range from charity work to supporting clients with extra acts of kindness and many other wonderful things that everyone will see over the year.
Alongside this, we will run a year-long JustGiving fundraiser for our chosen organisation – Kingsley Special Academy.
This JustGiving fundraiser will be available to all staff, friends, and family, and we hope you will get behind us as we try to raise as much money as we can for Kingsley Special Academy whilst participating in these random acts of kindness throughout the year.
This school is very close to our hearts at MEM. Mark McIntyre, the senior manager at our Wellingborough branch, raised money for them last year by doing a charity boxing match to help fund a special sensory room, and we have decided to continue our support of them again this year.
It’s a real privilege to say we have worked in the recruitment industry for 30 years!
Since then, we have created and expanded upon our services in various ways to provide the very best to our clients.
We have sister companies, including MEM Digital, MEM Training, and The Staff Room, each providing specific services valuable to our clients.
Ian Mclaven and Gary Matthews, who launched MEM in 1994, have seen many changes in the industry and the world over this period. Please watch for some very interesting content from them over the year, where they will be talking about these good and bad changes.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past 30 years. We look forward to bringing some fun, smiles, joy, and optimism to 2024 as we embark on our 30 random acts of kindness.
