After three decades of dedicated service, Gary and Ian have decided to retire, confident in the future of the business under new management.

Dan McLaven, the new Owner and Managing Director, shared his excitement: “It is a true honour and privilege to take ownership of MEM Recruitment, and I’m incredibly proud to continue the legacy of the McLaven family within the company. This is an exciting time for all of us, and with the fantastic team we have in place, I am genuinely excited for this next chapter in our journey. I want to thank Gary and Ian for their support, trust, and guidance over the years, and I wish them a very deserved and happy retirement. After over 30 years of success, Gary Matthews and Ian McLaven expressed their pride in passing the torch to the next generation. Gary Matthews said: “After more than 30 years in the recruitment sector, Ian and I are both proud to hand over MEM Recruitment to Dan, and with his senior management team already in place with Rebecca Sanders, Monika Kaleta, and Dan Muncey, we know he will hit the ground running. Dan, who has worked closely with us for many years, is the natural choice to lead the company forward, and I have no doubt that this new management team will continue to build on our strong foundation.”

Ian McLaven also reflected on the transition: “It is with great pride that my son Dan takes ownership. I am confident that the future of MEM is in the best hands, and I look forward to seeing the company continue to grow and succeed under his leadership. Dan’s deep understanding of our values, operations, and vision makes him the perfect person to lead the business into the next phase.”
